Sam was born in Bloomington, MN. He grew up in church and accepted Christ as his personal Savior at a very young age. It was only until his college years that he decided to dive in what it means to have faith in and follow Jesus Christ. He received training under Challenge Ministries International and was later ordained by the same organization.

He is a self-acclaimed geek, loves video games, board games, and anything indoor. He loves trying new foods and restaurants. And loves screaming at the Vikings on TV.

Sam is married to Jenna and they have two kids, Jonah & Jade. Sam works for Abbott Labs as an electrical engineer and, in addition to Church, is involved with Young Life for private schools. The Vargheses’ are residents of St. Paul and they enjoy the area so much!
