Jose (Joy) has been living in St. Paul (MN) area for the last 35 years. Early in his teen age years, he established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and has been a student of the Bible ever since. In his association with different local churches he has attended, he has taught the Bible and encouraged and discipled others of all ages. Currently he is involved in teaching, pastoring, shepherding and counseling at Bethesda. He has a vision to create an environment where the knowledge of the truth from God’s Word can be passed on to the next generation to be effective in the culture in which we live. He enjoys getting together with friends and family for fellowship and helping others as needed.

Additionally, as a tent maker he works in a local software company. He and his wife, Mercy, have three married children and eight grandchildren. His wife also is involved in helping others in their spiritual growth through Bible studies and personal contacts. Their children are in the Twin Cities and are active in the churches they attend.
